Ricki Lake, Josh Gad, Christopher J. Hanke Set for Concert for a Healthy Birth

The Concert for a Healthy Birth, which will benefit Choices in Childbirth, a leading national advocacy organization for maternity care and women's health, will be presented May 9 at the Canal Room in Manhattan.

The evening, which will be hosted by Ricki Lake, will honor model, activist and director of the upcoming documentary "No Woman No Cry," Christy Turlington Burns, as well as Dr. Christiane Northrup, women's health pioneer and bestselling author.

The concert will boast performances by host Lake, Josh Gad, Christopher J. Hanke, Rebecca Jones, Alysha Umphress, John Hill, Natalie Joy Johnson, Elizabeth Stanley and artists from the world of rock and pop, including Storm Large.

A dance party and reception will follow the 7:30 PM concert.
