Daisy Eagan, Dan Savage, Nellie McKay Are Better & Better at June 23 Benefit

Tony Award winner Daisy Eagan joins columnist and "It Gets Better" campaign founder Dan Savage for the June 23 Better & Better benefit at The Gramercy Theatre.

Alec Mapa (M. Butterfly, "Ugly Betty") hosts the 7:30 PM event that features performances by Eagan (The Secret Garden) and the band BETTY with appearances by Mimi Imfurst, Frank DeCaro and remarks by Savage.

All proceeds for the event benefit the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network, which helps to end bullying in schools and advance comprehensive safe schools laws and policies.
