She will join a cast that currently includes Anne Brummel as Elphaba, Jody Gelb as Madame Morrible and Don Amendolia as The Wizard.
The company also features Emily Ferranti (Nessarose), Martin Moran (Dr. Dillamond), Dan Pacheco (Boq), David Nathan Perlow (Fiyero) and Christine Dwyer (Standby for Elphaba) with Kerry Blanchard, Michael Drolet, Jeremy Duvall, Peter C. Ermides, Ryan Patrick Farrell, Samantha Farrow, Natalie Fotopoulos, KC Fredericks, Linda Griffin, Laurel Harris, Lauren Haughton, Zach Hensler, Courtney Iventosch, Ryan Jackson, Lisa Livesay, Marissa Miller, Robert Pendilla, Casey Quinn, Don Richard, Michael McCorry Rose, Daniel Torres, Erin Wilson, Justin Wirick and Lindsay Wood.
In 2005 Haas made her Broadway debut in Wicked and spent two years as the Nessarose cover. Most recently she was the Glinda understudy for the second North American tour. She was also seen in the tour of The Drowsy Chaperone. Haas is also a former “Miss Ohio” and competed in the Miss America Pageant.
Wicked features a score by Schwartz, a book by Holzman, direction by Joe Mantello and musical staging by Wayne Cilento. The creative team also includes scenic design by Eugene Lee, costume design by Susan Hilferty, lighting design by Kenneth Posner, sound design by Tony Meola, projections by Elaine J. McCarthy, wig and hair design by Tom Watson, music supervision and arrangements by Stephen Oremus, orchestrations by William David Brohn and dance arrangements by James Lynn Abbott.
