"The View" Welcomes Bernadette Peters, Samuel L. Jackson, Angela Bassett Oct. 11

Three stars currently on Broadway will be guests on the Oct. 11 broadcast of the ABC daytime chat show "The View."

Two-time Tony winner Bernadette Peters, who is currently starring in the critically acclaimed revival of Follies, and The Mountaintop co-stars Samuel L. Jackson and Angela Bassett will all appear on the hour-long chat show.

"The View" features Daytime Emmy Award-winning hosts Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd. The program airs in the New York metropolitan area on ABC, Channel 7, at 11 AM ET. Check local listings.

Follies plays Broadway's Marriott Marquis Theatre; The Mountaintop is currently in previews at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.
