Olivia Newton-John Will Celebrate New CD in Upcoming NY-NJ Tour

Olivia Newton-John, who famously played Sandy opposite John Travolta's Danny in the blockbuster film of the Broadway musical Grease, will launch a mini-tour in December that will bring her to several venues in New Jersey and New York.

Newton-John will celebrate the release of her new CD, "Portraits: A Tribute to Great Women of Song," during the upcoming tour (expect old favorites as well). The new recording, which was released in September, features such tunes as "Send in the Clowns," "Cry Me a River," "Summertime," "Love Me or Leave Me," "Rainy Days & Mondays" and more.

The current tour itinerary follows:

Dec. 2 in Verona, NY, at Turning Stone Resort & Casino Showroom
Dec. 4 in Tarrytown, NY, at Tarrytown Music Hall
Dec. 7 in Englewood, NJ, at Bergen Performing Arts Center
Dec. 8 in Westbury, NY, at NYCB Theatre at Westbury
Dec. 9 in Atlantic City, NJ, at Caesars Atlantic City
Dec. 10 in Albany, NY, at Palace Theatre

Newton-John will next be seen in the motion picture "A Few Best Men" from the director of "Priscilla Queen of the Desert" and the writer and producers of "Death at a Funeral." The film is due in theatres Jan. 26, 2012; visit http://www.afewbestmenthemovie.com.
