Miller (Hair) originated the role of Deloris Van Cartier in the London production of Sister Act and earned both Olivier and Tony Award nominations for her work. Producers have not revealed which song from the disco-kissed musical the cast will perform.
Sister Act arrived on Broadway in April after a year-long London run. Stage Entertainment, along with Whoopi Goldberg, who starred in the 1992 film comedy about a nun on the run, are among the lead producers of the 1970s-set musical that has a Tony-nominated score by Academy Award-winning composer Alan Menken (The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast) and lyricist Glenn Slater (Love Never Dies).
Tony Award nominee Douglas Carter Beane (Lysistrata Jones, The Little Dog Laughed, Xanadu) revamped the book for the Broadway production, which bills London book writers Cheri and Bill Steinkellner as co-authors. Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks (The Addams Family, Guys and Dolls) directed the Broadway production.
"Dancing With the Stars" airs Monday and Tuesday nights on ABC at 8 PM ET.
