Cast members from the 2010 Broadway production of Elf, including Sebastian Arcelus, Beth Leavel and Amy Spanger, perform selections from the original cast album Dec. 5 at the Upper East Side Barnes and Noble.

Based on the film of the same title, Elf has a score by Wedding Singer songwriters Matthew Sklar (music) and Chad Beguelin (lyrics) and a book by Tony Award winners Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone) and Thomas Meehan (Annie, Hairspray, The Producers).

Arcelus (Jersey Boys, Wicked) starred as Buddy the elf, in a cast that also featured Amy Spanger (Rock of Ages, The Wedding Singer) as Buddy's love interest Jovie, with Tony winner Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone, Mamma Mia!) as Emily.

Scheduled for the 5 PM performance and signing are Arcelus, Leavel and Spanger, as well as Matthew Schechter and Matthew Gumley and writers Sklar and Beguelin. The Upper East Side Barnes and Noble is located at 150 East 86th Street (at Lexington Avenue).

The original Broadway company reunited during the winter and spring of 2011 to record the cast album, which includes full lyrics; liner notes were penned by Tony-winning Fiddler on the Roof and She Loves Me lyricist Sheldon Harnick. David Lai and Sklar produced the album, which was mixed by Isaiah Abolin. The album was released Nov. 1 from Ghostlight Records.
