The Tony Award-winning hit The Book of Mormon is the most popular pick, landing on the lists for TIME, Entertainment Weekly, Newsday, Time Out New York and New York Magazine. It also takes the number one spot on "Ben Brantley's Top 10 of 2011."
Other notable plays and musicals of the season that pop up more than once include the Tony Award-winning play War Horse, Tony Award-winning revival of The Normal Heart, Tony Award-winning revival of Anything Goes, Jerusalem, The Motherf**ker With the Hat, Follies and Off-Broadway's Sleep No More and Sons of the Prophet.
