Terry Johnson's The Graduate, based on the novel and the motion picture of the same name, will be presented at the El Centro Theatre in Hollywood, CA, beginning Feb. 11.

Directed by Jules Aaron, the West Coast Ensemble production will officially open Feb. 13 and continue through April 5.

The cast features Ben Campbell, Jerry Lloyd, Cindy Yantis, Kelly Lloyd, Jim Keily, Michelle Exarhos, Sara Stuckey, Chris Muto and Bill Tigue.

The Graduate, which was adapted by Terry Johnson, is based on the novel by Charles Webb and the motion picture screenplay by Calder Willingham and Buck Henry. In the play, press notes state, "recent graduate Benjamin Braddock comes home from college and promptly becomes embroiled in an affair with the wife of his father's business partner.... and her daughter. With its theme of innocent youth betrayed by a corrupt older generation, this biting satire defined an era and perfectly captured the spirits of the times."

The creative team includes set designer Stephen Gifford, lighting designer J. Kent Inasy, costume designer Shon LeBlanc and sound designer Rebecca Kessin. Stage manager is Erin Bedinger. Richard Israel and Bill Tigue produce.

The El Centro Theater is located at 800 N. El Centro Avenue in Hollywood, CA. Tickets, priced $10 (previews), $20 (general) and $18 (student/senior/union), are available by visiting www.tix.com or by calling (323) 460-4443.
