Brinkley will again play Roxie Hart at Broadway's Ambassador Theatre for an exclusive three-week limited engagement, April 6-27.
Following her Broadway run, Brinkley will take Roxie on the road as she makes her national tour debut with Chicago, which includes an exclusive two-week engagement at the Panatages Theatre in Los Angeles, May 15-27. Visit www.broadwayla.org. Additional tour dates and cities will be announced soon.
Christie Brinkley made her acting debut in 1983 opposite Chevy Chase in the feature film “National Lampoon’s Vacation." She also appeared on NBC’s “Mad About You” and hosted Lifetime Television’s “InStyle Celebrity Weddings,” which became the highest-rated special in Lifetime’s history.
Chicago won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical in 1997 as well as awards for actors Bebe Neuwirth and James Naughton, director Walter Bobbie, lighting designer Ken Billington and choreographer Ann Reinking. The original production was directed and choreographed by the late Bob Fosse.
