Momia en el closet: The Return of Eva Perón, according to press notes, is a "musical comedy with dark historical underpinnings [and] follows Eva Perón through her convoluted after-life, as her perfectly preserved corpse is moved from town to town and around the world, setting off political intrigues, public uprisings, secret love-affairs, and mysterious murders. . . . The show weaves together historical fact and fiction, ultimately revealing the intense love between Evita and the working class and her mesmerizing spiritual power as Argentina's most revered icon."

The creative team also includes set designer Mariana Fernández, lighting designer Ayun Fedorcha, costume designer Martin Schnellinger, sound designer Matt Otto, projections designer JJ Kaczynski, properties designer Vicky Sussman, and hair and make-up designer Dori Beauseigneur.
