Red Bull Theater to Honor Patrick Stewart at June Benefit

Tony Award nominee Patrick Stewart will be honored with the Matador Award for Excellence in Classical Theater by the Red Bull Theater during its annual June 4 Running of the Bulls benefit.

Paige Davis will host the evening at the Bowery Hotel, which will feature special guests Emily Bergl, Richard Easton, Christopher Innvar, Patrick Page, Stephen Spinella, Michael Urie, Marc Vietor and more.

In addition to honoring Stewart (Macbeth, A Life in the Theatre), the Red Bull will also present Matador Awards to longtime company member Matthew Rauch (Extraordinary Talent Award for Classical Theater) and The Shakespeare Society (Extraordinary Service to Classical Theater).
