Broadway Inspirational Voices' Spring Concert, Highest Praise, Set for May 20-21

The Broadway Inspirational Voices will present their second annual Spring concert May 20 at 7 PM and May 21 at 8 PM at the Central Presbyterian Church.



Led by creator Michael McElroy, The Broadway Inspirational Voices feature Norm Lewis, Montego Glover, Eden Espinosa and numerous others from such shows as The Lion King, Wicked, Memphis, Godspell, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Sister Act, Spider Man, Nice Work If You Can Get It, The Book of Mormon, Leap of Faith and Evita.

The evenings, entitled Highest Praise, will include a wide array of inspirational repertoire, including a few original pieces by McElroy.

A portion of the proceeds from this concert will go to BIV’s Educational Outreach Program. BIV members participate in these outreach programs to provide music to children in need.

Broadway Inspirational Voices was originally founded by McElroy in 1994 as the Broadway Gospel Choir and in 1999 was renamed. The Broadway Inspirational Voices' second album, "Great Joy: A Gospel Christmas," was released on Sh-K-Boom Records in 2003 and received a Grammy Award nomination.
