3Graces Theater Co. Will Give Wing to World Premiere of The Power of Birds

3Graces Theater Co. will unveil the world premiere production of The Power of Birds by Robin Rice Lichtig Feb. 19-March 13 at the CSV Education & Cultural Center in Manhattan.



The play follows the fallout from a father's decision to leave his family to follow the migration of the birds. The family's mother also moves her 12-year-old twins and mother-in-law to another state to start over and learns to cope with the changes in her family.

The production, directed by Elizabeth Bunnell, will feature Margot Avery, Emma Galvin, Noah Galvin, Annie McGovern and Jay Potter.

Lichtig's play will run in repertory with Prescription Strength Theater, two new one-act plays about healthcare written by Patrick Link and Sharyn Rothstein.

The regular performance schedule for The Power of Birds is Thursday-Sunday, with an added performance on opening night, Monday, Feb. 22 at 8 PM.
