The cast of Newsies will join Tony Award nominee Montego Glover and "American Idol" finalist Clay Aiken as part of the Family Equality Council's May 8 Night at the Pier celebration.

The 6 PM event, which commemorates the Family Equality Council's 30th anniversary, honors Tony-winning Normal Heart producer Daryl Roth and Freedom to Marry CEO Scott Davenport.
Aiken (Spamalot), Glover (Memphis) and the Newsies cast will offer performances as part of the evening.
The Family Equality Council is a national organization that connects, supports and represents the one million parents in the U.S. who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender.
