Hugh Jackman, Elena Roger, Jan Maxwell, Ricky Martin and the Broadway production of Newsies were among the nominees for the 2012 Fred & Adele Astaire Awards.

The Astaire Awards, which recognize excellence in dance on Broadway and in film, will be presented June 4 at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. As previously reported, Liza Minnelli will be honored with the Douglas Watt Lifetime Achievement Award during the ceremony.
