Theresa Rebeck's What We're Up Against, Featuring Nancy Lemenager, Begins at the Alley Theatre May 11

The Alley Theatre production of Theresa Rebeck's What We're Up Against, a new dark comedy about a female architect who hits the workplace glass ceiling, begins its Houston run May 11.

Scott Schwartz (Golda's Balcony, Mauritius) stages the production that will officially open May 16 for a run through June 10 on the Neuhaus Stage.

The cast includes Chris Hutchison (Proof), Nancy Lemenager (Chicago, Movin' Out), David Andrew Macdonald (An Inspector Calls, The Green Heart), Julia Motyka (Obama 44, My Antonia) and David Rainey (Amadeus).

The production has scenic and lighting design by Kevin Rigdon, costume design by Alejo Vietti and sound design  by Josh Schmidt.



What We're Up Against is presented as part of the Alley's New Play Initiative Program.
