The Off-Broadway theatre company Playwrights Horizons held its annual Spring Gala June 11. Titled “The Highest Standard,” the event celebrated the organization’s five Pulitzer Prize-winning productions.

The company's Prize-winning shows are Clybourne Park (2011), I Am My Own Wife (2004), The Heidi Chronicles (1989), Driving Miss Daisy (1988) and Sunday in the Park with George (1985).

Now in its 41st Season, Playwrights Horizons is one of New York's most acclaimed theater companies. A writer's theater dedicated to the support and development of contemporary American playwrights, composers and lyricists, it has presented the work of over 375 writers.
