The Broadway Dreams Foundation presents the Atlanta engagement of Express Yourself, the 2012 Broadway Dreams Foundation Summer Performing Arts Intensive Tour, June 23 at Woodruff Arts Center's Alliance Theatre Main Stage.

Directed by Stafford Arima (Carrie), the 2 PM and 8 PM concerts feature Tony Vincent (American Idiot, "The Voice"), Nicholas Rodriguez (Tarzan), Tituss Burgess (The Little Mermaid), Craig D'Amico (Fiddler on the Roof), Meg Gillentine (Fosse), Tyler Hanes (A Chorus Line), Andrew Palermo (Wicked), Claci Miller (Annie Get Your Gun) and Skye Mattox (West Side Story) alongside a talented roster of Atlanta-area BDF students.

Audiences can expect to hear selections from the 2012 Tony Award-winning musical OnceMatilda, Annie Get Your Gun, Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar and more.

The Broadway Dreams Foundation training program also offers week-long summer performance intensives at the Holland Performing Arts Center in Omaha, NE, and the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, PA.

BDF students receive training in acting, dance and vocal performance before participating alongside Broadway performers in concert events open to the public. Following the Atlanta engagement, Tony Award nominee Dan Knechtges (Lysistrata Jones) will direct the Philadelphia concert Aug. 4, and Matt Lenz (associate director Hairspray, Catch Me If You Can) will helm the Omaha engagement July 14.

The 2012 Arts Intensive faculty roster includes BDF artistic director Rodriguez, Burgess, D'Amico, Quentin Earl Darrington (Ragtime), Traci Jai Edwards (Legally Blonde), Tony Award winner Jarrod Emick (The Boy From Oz), Eden Espinosa (Wicked), Gillentine, Deidre Goodwin (A Chorus Line), Hanes, Nikki Snelson (Legally Blonde), Telsey + Co. casting directors Craig Burns and Rachel Hoffman, BDF executive director Tanner and BDF creative producer Paul Canaan (Legally Blonde), among others.

The Broadway Dreams Foundation summer intensive program offers significant scholarships to hundreds of students each year, ensuring them to "realize their Broadway Dreams regardless of their financial status." For more information, visit MyBroadwayDreams.com.

As previously reported, BDF will be the subject of a new reality-based television show, tentatively named "Broadway Dreams," which follows hundreds of Broadway hopefuls.
