The Tony Award-nominated hit Rock of Ages receives its Asian premiere with a summer Manila staging featuring U.S. tour and Broadway star MiG Ayesa as Stacee Jaxx.

The musical comedy Rock of Ages borrows rock hits of the 1980s to tell the story of showbiz lovers in L.A. The score includes "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "I Wanna Know What Love Is," "Here I Go Again," "Don't Stop Believin'" and more.

Rock of Ages is written by Chris D'Arienzo.

Chari Arespacochaga directs a company that includes Vina Morales, Nyoy Volante, Jett Pangan, Calvin Millado, Jinky Llamanzares, Bibo Reyes, Aiza Seguerra, Jamie Wilson, Apple Chui, Japs Treopalso, Mikkie Bradshaw Angeles and Altaire Alonso.

The sold-out engagement runs through July 8 at Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza, Makati City.
