John Tiffany to Direct Cherry Jones in
Glass Menagerie at A.R.T.

Tony Award winner
Cherry Jones will take on the role of Amanda Wingfield in the American Repertory Theater production of Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie, which will be staged by Tony Award-winning Once director John Tiffany.
Williams' poignant 1945 memory play about an overbearing mother and her fragile daughter will begin performances Feb. 2, 2013, in Cambridge, MA, for a run through March 13, 2013.
In addition to staging
Once, Tiffany is also the director of the acclaimed National Theatre of Scotland production of Black Watch.
Jones earned Tony Awards for
The Heiress and Doubt.
The Glass Menagerie will have sound design by Tony Award-winning Once sound designer Clive Goodwin.
