Directed by Matt Lenz and Tony Award nominee Dan Knechtges, the 7:30 PM concert featured Nicholas Rodriguez, Jarrod Emmick, Tituss Burgess, Craig D'Amico, Quentin Earl Darrington, Deidre Goodwin, Tyler Hanes, Sarah Pfeifer and Andrew Palmero alongside a talented roster of Omaha-area BDF students.
The concert featured selections from the 2012 Tony Award-winning musical Once, Matilda, Chicago, Hairspray and more.
BDF students receive training in acting, dance and vocal performance before participating alongside Broadway performers in concert events open to the public. Following the Atlanta engagement, Tony Award nominee Knechtges (Lysistrata Jones) will direct the Philadelphia concert Aug. 4.
