The cast also features David McClutchey, Erick Pinnick and Lormarev Jones.
Race, according to press notes, tells the story of "Charles Strickland (David McClutchey), a wealthy man who is charged with a crime against a black woman. The play follows Strickland and the characters of the multi-racial law firm of Lawson and Brown as they decide if they want to take the case...The plot unfolds as the three lawyers and defendant grapple with the evidence in the case and their own feelings about race."
In a statement actress-director Kennedy said, "It was honestly something that Alan was really passionate about doing and I really enjoy the debate of any Mamet play, especially Race, because of its relevance." About being directed by his wife, Campbell said, "When someone knows you so well it is hard to get away with much. She knows my tricks so they went out the first day! I think the process has made us both better at our jobs."
Show times are Wednesdays-Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 3 PM.
Tickets range from $20-$30 and can be ordered through ovationtix.com or by visiting www.HotSummerNightsAtTheKennedy.org.
