Jennifer Damiano, Heidi Blickenstaff, Leslie Odom, Jr. Join Jason Robert Brown for Birdland Concert July 30

Tony Award-winning composer-lyricist Jason Robert Brown takes part in the Broadway at Birdland concert series July 30 at Birdland in Manhattan. 

The 6 PM and 8:30 PM concerts feature new material as well as songs from The Last Five Years, Songs for a New World, Parade and 13. Material from Brown's solo album, "Wearing Someone Else’s Clothes," is also featured.

The evening includes special guests Leslie Odom, Jr. ("Smash," Leap of Faith), Heidi Blickenstaff ([title of show], The Little Mermaid) and Tony Award nominee Jennifer Damiano (Next to Normal, Spider Man: Turn Off The Dark).

Brown won the Tony Award in 1999 for his work on Parade. As previously announced, his two-person musical, The Last Five Years, will receive a 2013 New York revival by Second Stage Theatre.
