Tony Award nominee Patina Miller (Sister Act), Newsies' Kara Lindsay and Bring It On's Taylor Louderman are among the performers taking part in a benefit concert for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Aug. 26 at Joe's Pub.
The concert features new music and arrangements, as well as fan favorites, from composers such as Joey Contreras, Bobby Cronin, Drew Gasparini, Derek Gregor and Sam Carner, Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk, Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich, Blake Pfeil, Georgia Stitt and Overcash.
"St. Jude's is not just a hospital children go to who are sick, but a place that comes to families in times of need no matter their given circumstances," said host Overcash in a statement. "As a member of a St. Jude family, the time, energy and boundless love they share with those they work with is incredible."
Proceeds from the evening benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, whose research has changed how the world treats children with cancer and other diseases. For more information, visit StJude.org.
