The Claire Tow, which serves as the home of Lincoln Center Theater's new works-initiative LCT3, hosts the production through Sept. 15. Lee won a 2011 Obie Award for the darkly comic piece, which premiered at Joe's Pub in 2011 as part of the 13P playwrights collective.
We're Gonna Die is written and performed by Lee, with music by the band Future Wife, choreography by Faye Driscoll and direction by Paul Lazar. Future Wife consists of musicians Mike Hanf, Andrew Hoepfner, Nick Jenkins and Ben Kupstas.
The piece is billed as a "life-affirming show about the thing everyone has in common: WE'RE GONNA DIE. You may be miserable, but you won't be alone."
For tickets, priced $20, visit LCT3.org.
