The stage and screen star will be featured in New Year’s Eve at the Kennedy Center: Cheyenne Jackson...Music of the Mad Men Era, which begins at 8:30 PM.
NSO Principal Pops Conductor Steven Reineke will conduct members of the National Symphony Orchestra.
Jackson, according to the Kennedy Center, will "perform the suave styles and cool sounds of the ‘50s and ‘60s including catchy dance tunes, swinging lounge music, and bossa nova beats." The performance will be followed by the Grand Foyer Party, which features live music, dancing, and a balloon countdown to midnight, free for all Kennedy Center patrons with any Dec. 31 evening performance ticket or Roof Terrace Restaurant receipt from that evening.
Tickets are on sale now and start at $55. Purchases can be made in-person at the box office, online at kennedy-center.org, or by calling (202) 467-4600 or (800) 444-1324.
