Tony and Academy Award nominee Debbie Reynolds has been hospitalized after suffering an adverse reaction to medication, according to the Associated Press.

Reynolds' publicist, Kevin Sasaki, told the AP that the singer-actress, who was Tony-nominated for her performance in Irene, was hospitalized in Los Angeles and is canceling shows and appearances through the end of the year.
Reynolds, 80, is best known for her work in the 1952 movie musical "Singin' in the Rain" and was nominated for an Oscar in 1965 for her performance in "The Unsinkable Molly Brown." Her other Broadway credits include Woman of the Year and Debbie.
