Scheduled to present at the ceremony are Samuel L. Jackson (The Mountaintop), Blair Underwood (A Streetcar Named Desire), Kate Burton ("Grey's Anatomy"), Judy Reyes ("Scrubs"), Richard Roundtree ("Shaft"), Victoria Rowell ("The Young and the Restless"), Nadine Velazquez ("My Name is Earl"), Jamie Kennedy ("Malibu's Most Wanted"), Clifford "Method Man" Smith, LisaRaye McCoy ("Single Ladies"), Tonya Pinkins (Jelly's Last Jam), Brian White ("Good Deeds"), Rochelle Aytes ("The Forgotten"), Vicci Martinez ("The Voice"), Russell Hornsby ("Grimm"), Selita Ebanks ("Celebrity Apprentice"), Tory Kittles ("Sons of Anarchy") and Nadine Ellis ("Let's Stay Together").
Shoshana Bean, who starred on Broadway in Wicked, and Tichina Arnold ("Everyone Hates Chris") will perform.
Parker, who starred as Blanche in the recent Broadway revival of A Streetcar Named Desire, will receive The Spirit Award, which is presented to an individual who "brings energy, tenacity, innovation, commitment, talent and, of course, spirit to the theatre scene"; and Pickens, Jr. (8 in Los Angeles, "Grey's Anatomy") will receive The Lifetime Achievement Award, which is presented to an individual whose "theatrical contributions have been revolutionary, and whose efforts have 'made a historic difference' in the entertainment profession."
Willis Edwards, longtime vice president and national board member of the NAACP, will receive the 2012 Humanitarian Award, presented to a group or an individual who has a "history of giving back to the community."
