Blackwell ([title of show]) hosts the 6 PM gala, which also celebrates the work of the artists and achievements of the 2012 festival. The evening includes cocktails, dinner and musical performances celebrating NYMF's recent summer run.
Video tributes by Kristin Chenoweth (Wicked, "GCB"), Matthew Morrison (The Light in the Piazza, "Glee") and John Lithgow (The Columnust) are slated to be part of the evening.
Also set to participate are O'Hara's Nice Work co-star, Broderick, and the musical's director-choreographer, Marshall. O'Hara's husband, Greg Naughton, is also part of the evening.
The cast of Broadway's Chaplin, which was developed at NYMF, is scheduled to offer a special performance.
O'Hara is currently starring in the Broadway musical Nice Work If You Can Get It, for which she was Tony Award-nominated. She also received Tony nominations for South Pacific, The Pajama Game and The Light in the Piazza. This spring she will star in the Off-Broadway premiere of Far From Heaven.
For tickets, beginning at $375, phone (212) 664-0979, ext. 12, or email gala@nymf.org. Visit NYMF.org.
