PHOTO CALL: Baba Brinkman's Ingenious Nature Opens Off-Broadway

Baba Brinkman's Ingenious Nature opened Dec. 5 at the SoHo Playhouse. Written and performed by Brinkman, the work is directed by Darren Lee Cole and features music and turntablism by Jamie Simmonds.

Here's how Ingenious Nature is billed: "Alpha males get all the girls. Or is the definition of alpha changing faster than our genes can catch up, messing with evolution? If there's a new science of sexual choice, Darwin wrote the playbook…just try not to bring it up on a first date. Ingenious Nature is a new theatrical mix-tape from the creator of The Canterbury Tales Remixed and The Rap Guide to Evolution (2011 Drama Desk Award nominee)." Performances will continue through Jan. 6, 2013.
