Tony Award nominee Justin Vivian Bond will join Justin Sayre for the Dec. 13 installment of The Meeting*, which will celebrate the work of late writer and raconteur Quentin Crisp during a holiday extravaganza at the Duplex.

The Meeting* is a monthly "gay romp through politics (sexual and otherwise), social news, music, comedy skits, and other important life-changing information." Each presentation is devoted to a different gay icon. Sayre hosts with various special guests. Adam J. Rosen and Dan Fortune produce the series.

The special holiday event promises "musical merriment and comedy shenanigans - [that] both lampoon and celebrate the happiest time of the year, with that special gay twist." Past holiday shows have included "The Nativity of Quentin Crisp," "Serving in Silence: The Rudolf The Red-Nosed Reindeer Story" and the famous "Truth or Dreidel" game.

Special guests and performers include Bond (Kiki and Herb), Michael Musto, Spencer Day, Erin Markey, Frank DeCaro and Carole J. Bufford. Tracy Stark serves as musical director.

All shows are at 9:30 PM. There is a $10 cover charge and a two-drink minimum. For tickets visit BrownPaperTickets.com. The Duplex is located at 61 Christopher Street at 7th Ave.
