The Shubert Organization celebrated the 100th birthday of the Cort Theatre the evening of Dec. 21. The cast of Grace, which currently inhabits the space, was joined by a number of former tenants.

The Cort Theatre opened its doors on December 20, 1912, with Peg O’My Heart, starring Laurette Taylor. Since then, more than 250 productions have called the theater its home, including the original productions of Once Upon a Mattress, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Boeing-Boeing and many more.
