According to the band's website, the concert tour will kick off March 28 at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL.
"We want to thank everyone for hanging in with us for the last few months," said the members of Green Day on their website. "We are very excited to hit the road and see all of you again, though we regret having to cancel more shows."
Armstrong, who appeared in Broadway's American Idiot, was treated for substance abuse following an onstage outburst at the September 2012 iHeartRadio Festival; performances following the festival were immediately postponed.
Tickets for shows that had been postponed will be honored at the new concert dates. Purchased tickets for canceled dates will be refunded at original point of purchase. Additional West Coast dates will be announced in early 2013.
