Produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and benefiting Broadway Cares and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center, the performance will begin at 8 PM.
Currently scheduled to take part in the evening are four-time Tony nominee Estelle Parsons, two-time Tony Award winner Judy Kaye, two-time Emmy Award-winning comedian Bruce Vilanch, Daniel Breaker, Anita Gillette, Tony Sheldon, Jose Llana, Jim Brochu, Ward Billeisen, Stephanie J. Block, Tituss Burgess, Robert Creighton and Kyle Dean Massey. Additional performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
Directed and choreographed by creator Robert Bartley, Broadway Backwards is described as an "annual celebration where gays and lesbians see their stories told through the great songs of musical theatre, performed by their favorite Broadway performers." Amy Jones is co-choreographer.
