The Red Cross benefit concert debuted over 15 world-premiere songs from musical theatre writers — ages 19-90 — about someone who changed his or her idea of New York City.
Performers included David Austin, Jenni Barber (The Performers), Jeff Blumenkrantz, Andrea Burns (In the Heights), Corey Cott (Newsies), Dan Erben, Michael Gioia, Maribeth Graham, Benjamin Howes (Scandalous), Emma Hunton (Spring Awakening), Megan Kane, Eric Michael Krop (Godspell), Eric William Morris (Mamma Mia!), Alexander Sage Oyen, Jessica Phillips (Leap of Faith, Next to Normal), Will Roland, Charlie Rosen, Nadia Quinn (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), Krysta Rodriguez ("Smash"), Dana P. Rowe (The Fix), George Salazar (Godspell), Reynaldo Soriano, Jessica Vosk, Elanna White and Yaniv Zarif.
