Multiple Tony nominee O'Hara will play her final performance March 31. Mueller will take over as Billie Bendix beginning April 2.
In related news, Tony Award winner Matthew Broderick has extended his run and will now perform through June 15. Blythe Danner has also extended her contract through April 28.
Mueller made her Broadway debut last season as Melinda Wells in On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, receiving Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations. She also appeared as Cinderella in Shakespeare in the Park’s Into the Woods.
Nice Work, featuring music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and a book by two-time Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro, is directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall. The production plays Broadway’s Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street).
The creative team includes scenic design by Derek McLane, costume design by Martin Pakledinaz, lighting design by Peter Kaczorowski, sound design by Brian Ronan and orchestrations by Bill Elliott. The music supervisor is David Chase, and the music director is Tom Murray.
