Entitled Broadway and Beyond, after his most recent CD release of the same name, he previously presented this evening of song at Toronto's Centre for the Arts in August 2011.

As well as Les Miserables, Wilkinson also created the role of the Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera at its first outing at Lloyd Webber's private Sydmonton Festival in 1985, before playing the role in the show's Canada premiere in 1989, which he did for 1,700 performances.
He created the role of Che on the original 1976 recording of Evita, but didn't do the subsequent stage version, and the role(s) of Jekyll and Hyde on the original 1990 concept album of Frank Wildhorn's score.
