The Circle in the Square Theatre School presents The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, a children's play performed by CITSTS alumni that was dramatized by le Clanché du Rand from the story by C.S. Lewis, beginning March 18 at Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre.

Directed by Christina Pastor, 10:30 AM weekday performances — presented by arrangement with the Dramatic Publishing Company — continue through March 22.

The cast features Deven Anderson, Natalie Blackman, Sara Canter and Aiden Sank. A talkback with the cast follows each performance.

Here's how the show is billed: "This entertaining, innovative treatment of the classic is a heroic tale of love, faith, courage and giving. The life and death struggle for control of Narnia and the triumph of good over evil enthralls audiences of all ages."

The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe is the third and final production in CITSTS' 2012-13 Three-Plays for Grades K-6 series. This year's series is dedicated to the memory of Theodore Mann (1924-2012), co-founder of the legendary Theatre and until last winter, artistic director of both Circle in the Square and its acclaimed Theatre School.

Circle in the Square Theatre School (CITSTS), established in 1961, is the only conservatory affiliated with a Broadway theatre. Paul Libin is president and E. Colin O'Leary is executive director. Among the school's alumni are Philip Seymour Hoffman, Kevin Bacon, Lady Gaga, Idina Menzel, Benicio Del Toro, Felicity Huffman and Molly Shannon, among others.

The Circle in the Square Theatre is located at 50th Street, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue. Due to high demand, there is a wait list for tickets. For more information, call (212) 307-0388 or visit CircleSquare.org.
