West End Star David Shannon Plays Don't Tell Mama March 18; Phantom's Samantha Hill Is Special Guest

Ireland native David Shannon, who has appeared in the London productions of Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd, Miss Saigon and Jesus Christ Superstar, plays Don't Tell Mama in Manhattan March 18 at 8 PM.

Shannon's special guest is Samantha Hill, who is currently playing Christine in Broadway's The Phantom of the Opera.

The evening, which is entitled The Journey, follows Shannon's "remarkable career from early days as a furniture maker to West End star. From musicals to swing, classical to pop, this promises to be a night to remember," according to press notes.

Musical director is Julian Reeve.
