The Broadway at Birdland concert series will continue April 15 at 7 PM with its very first UKE NIGHT!, featuring ukulele performances by Broadway performers.
These Broadway stars, according to press notes, "will delve into the history of the uke starting with its Hawaiian origins and its explosion in the US in the 1920's all the way to its current pop music resurgence." Attendees can expect a mix of traditional Hawaiian, American Songbook, Broadway, rock, contemporary and original songs.
