Presented as a benefit for P.S. Arts, which helps bring arts education to underserved public schools, the 5 PM concert at Broad Stage promises Criss and the the all-male Ivy league vocal group performing choral and a cappella renditions of American jazz classics, pop hits and more.
"I'm excited to team up again with the gentlemen of the Yale Whiffenpoofs for another great evening of music. P.S. Arts has done an amazing job of bringing arts education to public schools and I am thrilled that our concert will be helping their cause," Criss said in a statement.
He made a splash with his Broadway debut in the 50th anniversary revival of How to Succeed, selling out his first performance after he took over the role of J. Pierrepont Finch for original star Daniel Radcliffe ("Harry Potter"). His three-week engagement proved to be box-office gold for producers, with increased ticket sales and several sold-out shows.
