A U.K. concert tour of Rent, originally staged in April, is to return for 15 further dates in the fall, with a cast led by Natasha Hamilton, former star of the pop troupe Atomic Kitten, and Rory Taylor, runner-up of ITV's "Superstar" search for an actor to play the lead in Jesus Christ Superstar.

The tour will begin performances at Blackpool's Opera House Nov. 11, then continue to Nottingham's Concert Hall, Hull's New Theatre, London's Wimbledon Theatre, Oxford's New Theatre, Edinburgh's King's Theatre, Glasgow's SECC, Sheffield's Lyceum, Dublin's Bord Gais Energy Theatre, Torquay's Princess Theatre, Bristol's Hippodrome, Bradford's St. George's Hall, Newcastle's Mill Volvo Tyne Theatre, Manchester's Palace Theatre and Liverpool's Echo Arena.

In a press statement, Hamilton, who will play performance artist Maureen, commented, "I love Rent so I am made up to be playing the role of Maureen! She’s a great character…a little bit cheeky, flirtatious and injects some real comedy moments into the show." Best known for being one-third of Atomic Kitchen, who had more than 10 million worldwide record sales, she has previously appeared in a musical as Mrs. Johnstone in the West End's Blood Brothers.

Taylor, who reprises the role of Roger that he previously played, commented, "I had the most amazing time on tour with Rent in April and I am so excited that the public want more! I can’t wait to get back on the road and play the role of Roger again." He is also lead singer in a band called 54321, who are resident in The Cavern Club, Liverpool and have supported Mel C, Westlife and McFly on major arena tours.

Further casting is still to be announced.
