Randy Harrison, Erin Cummings, Paul Anthony Stewart and Alexis Molnar will star in Primary Stages' Off-Broadway premiere of Chad Beguelin's Harbor, which will begin performances July 23 at 59E59 Theaters.
Harbor, which premiered at the Westport Country Playhouse last August, will be staged by Westport artistic director Mark Lamos. It will officially open Aug. 6 for a run through Sept. 8.
Beguelin is also the lyricist of Elf and The Wedding Singer. He is collaborating with Alan Menken on the new Broadway production of Aladdin.
The cast features Cummings ("Made In Jersey"), Harrison ("Queer As Folk," Wicked), Stewart (Fiddler on the Roof, The People in the Picture) and original Westport cast member Molnar.
Here's how it's billed: "When fifteen-year-old Lottie and her ne'er-do-well mother Donna drop in unannounced on the beautiful Sag Harbor home of Donna's brother and his new husband, all hell breaks loose. The bonds between kith and kin are tested in this alternately biting and touching comedy about the constantly shifting nature of the meaning of family."
Harbor will have scenic design by Andrew Jackness, costume design by Candice Donnelly, lighting design by Japhy Weideman and original music and sound design by John Gromada.
You're invited to spend an evening filled with personal tales of difficult choices, bad breaks, worse men and some of the most glorious songs ever written. It's an intimate evening, up close with a legend.
So pull up a chair and order up a drink. Because she's got a life to sing. Tickets as low as $85!
