"Harmony House," a new TV series written by Neil LaBute, has been picked up by NBC, according to Deadline.com.
The half-hour comedy project centers on a young psychiatric resident who meets the woman of his dreams. She just happens to be his patient in the psychiatric facility where he works.
"Harmony House" will be produced by 20th Century Fox.
LaBute, a Tony Award nominee for reasons to be pretty, has also written Reasons to be Happy, The Shape of Things, Some Girls, The Break of Noon, The Mercy Seat and In the Company of Men. His film credits include "Your Friends & Neighbors," "The Wicker Man," "Some Girl(s)" and "Seconds of Pleasure."
LaBute also recently signed a deal with DirecTV to produce a series of ten short films about human relationships.
