Actor Therapy, the master-class series hosted by Wicked star Lindsay Mendez and composer-lyricist Ryan Scott Oliver (35mm, Jasper in Deadland, Mrs. Sharp, Darling), returns to 54 Below Oct. 23.

The evening begins at 11:30 PM and features performers from Mendez and Oliver's weekly Actor Therapy master-class series, including Cory Stonebrook (Grease at the Paramount Theatre in Chicago), Matthew Silva (Porch Light Productions' Little Shop of Horrors), Michael Gioia (5th Floor Productions' Urinetown), Alaina Fragoso (APAC's Gone Tomoro), Tiffany Trainer (Grease at the Paramount Theatre in Chicago), Gina Cucci (FringeNYC's Grimm), Christian Lane Green (Avenue Q at Ghostlight Rep), Brittany Bara (Interlakes Theatre's Les Miz), Kara Wilson (NYU Educational Theatre), Ben Garrett (The York Theatre's Songs for a New World) and Cait Murphy (PiPEDREAM Theatre's Columbia).

Composer Oliver hosts Actor Therapy, last seen at 54 Below in July, with Risa Dorken (world premiere of Disney's High School Musical).

At Actor Therapy, audiences can expect to hear material that ranges from classical musical theatre to work by contemporary composers, pop artists and lyricists.

Actor Therapy provides artists with a better "understanding of what it means to be an actor and song interpreter in New York" and has included appearances from Krysta Rodriguez (First Date), Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (A Christmas Story), Ben Crawford (Big Fish), Alex Brightman (Big Fish), casting directors and more.
