Five performances of the L.A. Theatre Works production of The Graduate, which is based on the 1963 novel and the subsequent 1967 Oscar-winning film, play the Queens Theatre beginning Oct. 25.
Adapted for the stage by Terry Johnson, the "radio theatre" production is directed by Brian Kite and features Diane Adair as Mrs. Braddock, Matthew Arkin as Mr. Robinson, Heidi Dippold as Mrs. Robinson, Jill Renner as Elaine Robinson, Darren Richardson as Hotel Clerk/Priest/Psychiatrist, Brian Tichnell as Benjamin Braddock and Tom Virtue as Mr. Braddock.
The production also has scenic and lighting design by Daniel Ionazzi and costume design by Rebecca Guzzi. Josh Bessom is the sound designer, and Caitlin Barbieri is the production stage manager.
Performances are scheduled for Oct. 25-26 at 2 PM and 8 PM and Oct. 27 at 3 PM.
