The creative team has been announced for the Avery Fisher Hall concert presentation of Maury Yeston and Peter Stone's Tony Award-winning musical Titanic.

Manhattan Concert Productions, which presented the starry concert of the Tony-winning musical Ragtime last winter, will return to Lincoln Center for the Feb. 17, 2014, concert presentation of Titanic.

Don Stephenson, who portrayed Charles Clarke in the 1997 Broadway production of Titanic, directs. Original Broadway musical director, musical supervisor and conductor Kevin Stites, who has been musical director for numerous productions of Titanic since its Broadway bow, will also musical direct the upcoming concert. Choreography is by Liza Gennaro (Once Upon a Mattress, The Most Happy Fella).

Titanic will have projection designs by Shawn Sagady, lighting design by Stephen Terry and set design by Narelle Sissons.

Similar to Ragtime, MCP's concert of Titanic promises a cast of Broadway performers and some 250 singers from around the country. According to MCP, "This concert performance will feature a star-studded cast with over one hundred singers from around the country, a host of professional members from the Broadway community, and the full forces of the New York City Chamber Orchestra."

Casting has not been announced.

The musical has a Tony-winning score by Yeston (Grand Hotel, Nine) and a Tony-winning book by the late Stone (The Will Rogers Follies, 1776). Titanic won 1997 Tony Awards for Best Book of a Musical (Stone), Best Musical, Best Orchestrations (Jonathan Tunick), Best Score (Yeston) and Best Scenic Design (Stewart Laing).
