Another presentation of Shawn Cody's new musical, The Water Dream, will be presented Dec. 5 at 2 PM and 7 PM at Theatre 54 at Shetler Studios.

Directed by Thomas Caruso with musical direction by Emily Otto, the performances will feature the talents of Anthony Rapp, Karmine Alers, Erik Lochtefeld, Alexis Hightower, Will Lyman, Shawn Cody, Ryan Link, David Arkema, Rob O’Hare, Diane Phelan, Adam Kern, Doug Chapman, Cheo Bourne, Josh Lamon, Alisa Ledyard and Alana Rader.

The artists will be backed by Justin Hines, percussion; Kris Rogers, bass; and Ryan Link, guitar. Bill Barclay penned the music arrangements.

The Water Dream, press notes state, is a "powerful and beautiful musical journey of redemption that features giant whale puppets, an aquarium of real water, and is the story of Cole Whalebone (Rapp), a 30-year old writer living in present day Seattle. After early success distracts him from the memory of his mothers' death, insomnia and writers block have brought the nightmare's back, causing Cole's girlfriend Sofia to leave and Cole to hit rock bottom."

Associate producers are Rob O’Hare, Doug Chapman and Adam Kern.

Theatre 54 at Shetler Studios is located at 244 West 54th Street, 12th Floor (elevator access). For reservations e-mail
