Tony Award nominee Ann Crumb will take on the role of acerbic aunt Silda Grauman in the Walnut Street Theatre production of Jon Robin Baitz's acclaimed family drama Other Desert Cities.
Staged by Kate Galvin, the Walnut Street production will begin Jan. 14, 2014, and will officially open Jan. 22. Performances will continue through March 2 in Philadelphia.

Crumb has appeared on Broadway in Aspects of Love, Anna Karenina, Les Misérables and Chess. She frequently appears on the Philadelphia-area stage.
The cast of Other Desert Cities also features Susan Wilder and Greg Wood as Polly and Lyman Wyeth, respectively, with Krista Apple and Matteo Scammell, as their grown children, Brook and Trip.
Other Desert Cities has scenic design by Todd Edward Ivins, lighting design by Thom Weaver, costume design by Colleen Grady and sound design by Christopher Colucci.
